Summit

Four cities.   Four days.   One vision.

The Bad Dog Improv Summit is a four day improv festival featuring performances and workshops by four exceptional companies from across North America. They share a common bond in TheatreSports® - a competitive improv format pitting teams of improvisors against one another where the audience determines the winner.

“TheatreSports® has been the springboard for the improv scene across Canada, and the Pacific Northwest,” says Bad Dog Artistic Producer Marcel St. Pierre.  “Each region has a different tradition and a different style of play, but the head-to-head competition, the misbehaviour - these are things that we all share, and these are the things we want to showcase.”

The Imrpov Summit is a celebration of this shared past and a showcase of improvisation traditions from across North America featuring:

  • Without Annette (Montreal)
  • Unexpected Productions (Seattle)
  • Bad Dog Theatre Company (Toronto)
  • Vancouver TheatreSports® League (Vancouver)

For four days, the four teams will compete against, play with, and learn from each other, reinforcing the similarities in our origins, and the glorious differences in our styles.

Come watch.

Come learn.

Come laugh.
