August 9th - 14th, Bad Dog Theatre hosts the 1st Annual Summit: Toronto’s Festival of Improv

The Summit is Toronto’s newest comedy festival hosting exciting new improv formats and mindblowingly-good instant theatre fun. With over 32 sets, over six nights and 75 artists from Second City, PROJECTproject, Impatient Theatre Company, Catch 23, Ghost Jail Theatre, Vanguard Comedy Theatre, Comedy Bar, Bad Dog Theatre as well as tv and film, the Summit hosts Toronto’s best improv talent.

The Summit unleashes never-seen before shows including musicals, non-traditional improvised theatre, interdisciplinary works, and of course comedy. Be one of the hundreds to witness the next SCTV, Kids in the Hall, Colin Mochrie or Mike Myers, who all began their comedy careers right here in Toronto. The festival also encompasses an End of Fest gala, student shows, professional development for artists and workshops for the public.
