Minimum Level: Level 200 or permission of the Workshop Director

This workshop is for the improvisor seeking to communicate on another level. The class will focus on exercises that explore physicality and nonverbal communication, and teamwork and listening will be the values of the day.

Marc Rowland is a member of Without Annette, the Comedy Nest’s in-house improv troupe, and is a company member of Sunday Night Improv at Theatre Ste-Catherine. He regularly leads workshops for Theatre Ste-Catherine, McGill Improv and at Montreal Arts Interculturel.

This is a clown exercise that has been adapted for improvisers. It works on; character, developing audience awareness, making an entrance, being comfortable dieing, and not being at the mercy of your intellect. This is not something you can get out of a textbook, but must be experienced.
